Deadly Prey Gallery was founded by Brian Chankin in Chicago, in partnership with his best friend Robert Kofi in Accra, Ghana. Our goal is to preserve, archive and educate people about these amazing paintings from Ghana, while continuing to directly support the artists in Ghana still working in the genre today. We are proudly currently partnered with 10 great artists in Ghana for commissions, but we also sell their current and older paintings for them. Kofi worked in the mobile cinema as a teenager and knows the artists personally for over 20 years now. The Deadly Prey partnership with the artists is now over 11 years old and going strong. We work with the great Ghanaian artists Heavy J, Farkira, Salvation, Stoger, Mr. Nana Agyq, C.A. Wisely, Magasco, Nii Bi Ashitey, Bright Obeng and H.K. Mathias. 100% of profits on prints and all other merchandise goes directly to them.
