Heidi is a ceramic artist based in Vashon Island, WA, originally from Seattle. A 2002 graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute, she has been creating ceramics since 2012. Using the Nerikomi technique, she hand-builds pots, sculptures, and vases, inlaying patterns and narratives with colored clays. She also creates "Protectors," sculpted figures made from wheel-thrown clay and embellished with individually cut clay elements.
