Ike E. Morgan (b. 1958, Rockdale, Texas) is a portrait artist known for his distinctive style and dedication to daily painting. His artistic journey began in high school and continued during his time at Austin State Hospital, where he painted historic figures like George Washington from the dollar bill.
Working in series with whatever materials are available, Ike focuses on historic portraits, occasionally incorporating pop culture figures, birds, and animals. Now residing in a nursing home, he continues to paint daily, currently fascinated with creating sheets of money.
